Do you offer In-House Financing or Work-To-Own vehicles?
We offer a Lease-To-Own or In-House plan called I-H.E.L.P (In-House Empowerment Leasing Plan), which allows persons to lease a vehicle for a period of time and become the owner at the end of the leasing period. A bank or financial institution provides financing, we don’t. The term Work-To-Own more commonly refers to an arrangement offered to someone who works as a taxi driver; the vehicles we offer on plans are for strictly private use, not Taxi.
Do I need to schedule an appointment to visit your office?
Yes. All visits to our office is strictly by appointment. Call or WhatsApp Us prior to visiting (476-9311).
Do you sell parts or accessories?
No we don’t.
Do you provide after-sales service?
Yes we do. Customers can maintain servicing at either of our mechanics.
Do all vehicles come with a spare key?
No, most vehicles come with one (1) key but if we do receive two (2) keys, you will receive same.
Financing & Payment
What financing options are available?
We partner with all financial institutions if you prefer using a commercial bank, or you can choose our In‑House Leasing Plan with terms of up to 9 years depending on the vehicle selected. Visit our I‑H.E.L.P page to check eligibility, or apply directly through our inventory by submitting your documents along with your vehicle choice.
What is the minimum down payment required?
Down payment requirements vary depending on the vehicle selected. Typically, we recommend a 20% down payment, but we can work with as low as 15% in some cases. Contact our team for personalized options.
How long does the approval process take?
Pre‑approval is typically completed within 24 hours. Once approved, registered vehicles are delivered in 24–72 hours. For unregistered vehicles, delivery usually takes 5–7 business days. Our team works efficiently to get you on the road as quickly as possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, LINX, local Visa cards, and credit cards. All credit card payments will incur a 4% charge.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
Yes! We accept trade-ins and offer competitive values. Bring your vehicle for a free appraisal, and we’ll apply the value toward your new purchase.

What documents do I need to purchase a vehicle?
You’ll need: a valid driver’s license, National ID, Proof of address (Utility bill), Proof of income (Recent pay slips or bank statements).
Can I upload documents online?
Yes! Our website features a secure document upload system on each vehicle page. This allows you to submit required documents in advance, speeding up the approval process when you visit our showroom.
How long does the entire purchase process take?
If paying full cash or with pre-approved financing, the process can be completed in approximately 3-7 business days.
Do you handle registration and licensing?
Yes, we handle all vehicle registration, licensing, and transfer of ownership paperwork.
Vehicle History & Inspection
What types of vehicles does your company import?
Our imported vehicles are carefully selected to meet high standards, with auction grades of 4.0 or higher. This ensures you receive units in excellent condition, offering reliability, value, and peace of mind.
What is included in your vehicle inspection?
Our comprehensive inspection includes: Engine and transmission check, brake system inspection, suspension and steering, electrical systems, AC system, exterior and interior condition, and a full diagnostic scan.
Can I have an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle?
Absolutely — we encourage transparency and peace of mind. You’re welcome to have an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle before making a decision. We’ll gladly accommodate the inspection so you feel fully confident in your purchase.
Delivery & After-Sales
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes, we provide delivery services throughout Trinidad & Tobago. Delivery fees vary based on location. Contact us for a delivery quote to your area.
What after-sales support do you provide?
We offer ongoing support including maintenance recommendations, warranty claims assistance, and access to our network of trusted service centers. Our customer service team is always available to help.
Can I return a vehicle if I'm not satisfied?
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. That’s why we offer a 7‑day period after you drive out to have the vehicle independently checked by your mechanic. This ensures transparency and gives you complete peace of mind about the quality of your vehicle.

Vehicle by order (auction, in transit, or from our supplier’s stock):

A deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required to process the order. An additional 25% is due two weeks before the vehicle arrives at our port, and the remaining 25% is payable upon delivery.
FINANCIAL Institution
Vehicles in Our Trinidad Stock:
If you’re interested in purchasing a vehicle from our Trinidad stock through your institution, please contact your loan officer to ensure you pre-qualify for the vehicle’s cost. Once pre-approved, contact us here or WhatsApp at (476-9311) to schedule an appointment for an in-office inspection and test drive of the vehicle you’re interested in. When you’re satisfied and wish to proceed, we will provide an invoice for submission to your financial institution.
Vehicles by Order (Auction, In Transit, or Supplier’s Stock):
To purchase via this option, contact us here or WhatsApp at (476-9311). If you wish to reserve a vehicle, the required deposit will be the amount your financial institution requires to be paid upfront. For example, this could be 10% down or nothing, depending on your loan terms. We will hold the vehicle with this deposit along with an official conditional approval. The final payment is due upon delivery.
DELIVERY TIME (Orders/ In Transit Vehicles)
Orders typically take between 10 to 14 weeks from the deposit date to delivery in hand. We believe in maintaining honesty regarding transit times to avoid misleading customers. While certain delays beyond our control can occur, the estimated timeframe is generally reasonable and not significantly longer than advertised. The estimated period covers:
- Booking to the next available vessel
- Sailing time
- Clearance from our port
- Vehicle preparation (mechanical servicing, tinting, buffing/polishing)
- Registration at the licensing department
If a vehicle has already been shipped and is in transit, the delivery time will be shorter. We are committed to delivering vehicles as quickly as possible; therefore, we do not collect 100% payment upfront. Rest assured, we remain in close communication with customers throughout the process to ensure transparency and timely delivery.
TRANSPARENCY/ Vessel Tracking
A Bill of Lading is available for all vehicles loaded onto a vessel and serves as official proof that your vehicle has been shipped. With this document, you can track the vessel’s location using the Marine Traffic website here. Additionally, you can contact the local shipping line in Trinidad for further confirmation.

I-H.E.L.P In-House Empowerment Leasing Plan
- A deposit is mandatory for all I-H.E.L.P vehicles.
- Plans are only available on listings where the I-H.E.L.P. Calculator is displayed.
- Plans can be arranged for vehicles ordered that are not listed on our website.
- Please note that plans do not cover the insurance premium; it must be paid separately, along with the deposit.
- Insurance premiums are issued exclusively by our partner companies.
- Same-day approval.
- Plans are strictly for the private use of vehicles.
- Plan durations vary, up to 6 years.
- GPS fees are included in the plan.
- No legal fees are required.
- A bank account is necessary to process payments.

Understanding the Purpose of I-H.E.L.P
Many individuals are deemed ‘undesirable’ by traditional financial institutions when applying for an auto loan, often resulting in unsuccessful attempts to secure a vehicle—even if they have the means to repay comfortably through alternative income sources. These people seek a safe and reliable way to acquire and eventually own a good vehicle. This need led to the creation of I-H.E.L.P.
The purpose of this program is, as its name suggests, to help those who do not qualify for auto financing through banks or other financial institutions but who can meet the requirements for financing through Trusted Motors Ltd.
It’s important to clarify that I-H.E.L.P is not a financial institution. Our terms and arrangements differ, and our resources are limited. We are here to assist, not to replace traditional financing options.
